Thompson's appointment is the seventh since IPO three years ago but the first to the main board

Mortgage Advice Bureau Holdings PLC (LON:MAB1) has made its seventh senior appointment since listing on the stock exchange three years ago with Ben Thompson joining on June 7 as managing director.

Most recently boss of ULS Technology, a provider of business-to-business platforms for the UK conveyancing and financial intermediary markets, Thompson has also held senior roles at Legal & General (LON:LGEN).

"I am really looking forward to working closely with Ben to deliver our strategic objectives for the next five years and beyond,” said chief executive Peter Brodnicki.

“We will make a great team, and I have no doubt that we will be pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved even further than we do now."

Brodnicki is so enthused by the appointment that he is gifting 113,000 shares to the new hire. He’ll also receive 370,000 options at nominal cost.
