Tower Resources PLC (LON:TRP) has told investors that it has now started work in preparation of an environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) for a multiple well drill programme for the Thali licence, offshore Cameroon.
It has carried out a tender process, hiring CIME Services of Cameroon as consultant to carry out the ESIA, along with a stakeholder consultation report – which are necessary under regulation set by the Ministry of Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development of Cameroon (MINEPDED).

"Commencing the ESIA process now is important to enable Tower to be in a position to commence drilling in the second half of 2018,” said Jeremy Asher, Tower chief executive.
“We look forward to working with CIME and MINEPDED on the assessment, and will update shareholders as the work proceeds.
