Guardian driver fatigue monitoring technology
Guardian is Seeing Machines' pioneering real time driver fatigue and distraction detection and intervention solution for commercial fleets.

Technologica, Seeing Machines Limited’s (LON:SEE) exclusive partner in the Middle East, has won two major deals for the London-listed company’s Guardian driver fatigue monitoring technology.

The first deal covers the fleet of a large Russian supermarket chain and the second is with a Dubai-based public transport body, which plans to install the Guardian system into its full fleet.

The combined opportunity is expected by Seeing Machines to total 5,620 Guardian units.

The Guardian units are expected to be ordered from Seeing Machines and installed over a one-to-two year timeframe and would represent the company's largest single fleet customer deals to date.

The Guardian technology uses Seeing Machines’ proprietary face and eye tracking algorithms to detect symptoms of fatigue and alerts the affected drivers.

Seeing Machines has received purchase orders from Technologica totalling 1,000 Guardian units, some of which have been delivered, but the majority of these 1,000 units are expected to benefit the current financial year, Seeing Machines said.

“These successful deals reflect the significant opportunities for Seeing Machines' Guardian across the Middle East and Europe and we look forward to continuing this positive collaboration," Angelatos said.

Mohammad Alsafadi, director of Smart Solutions & Services of Technologica, said Technologica looked forward to advancing other opportunities in the Middle East and Russia to expand the footprint of Guardian.
