Complife, an independent toxicity testing organisation, confirmed that the materials do not cause any irritation to human skin.
"We are pleased to have our G+ membrane and printed fabrics proven to be non-irritating to human skin. This adds to the certification we received last year that our graphene-based materials are non-toxic and non-cytotoxic,” said Giulio Cesareo, chief ececutive officer of Directa Plus.
“With our Graphene Plus textiles, our customers can truly differentiate their products as innovative, performance-enhancing and comfortable to wear. We have always prided ourselves on the safety and environmental credentials of our production processes and graphene-based products, and this new certification further represents that commitment," he added.
