Power station operator Drax Group PLC (LON:DRX) said in a statement on Friday that it has appointed Den Jones as its interim chief financial officer from 1 November.
Jones, who was previously CFO of Johnson Matthey, will step in the role while Drax continues to search for a permanent CFO to replace Will Gardiner.

Gardiner is taking over as chief executive at the end of the year following the departure of Dorothy Thompson.
Thompson is stepping down after 12 years as boss, ahead of a strategy shift for the coal power supplier.
Drax is planning to build one of the UK’s biggest gas-fired power plants at its North Yorkshire coal plant site.
The company has also been converting its power generation units to burn biomass rather than coal to help reduce carbon dioxide. The government's has said the UK will phase out coal power by 2025.
