Touchstone Exploration sees production growth in early July

Two new wells have come online

Trinidad focussed Touchstone Exploration Inc (LON:TXP, CVE:TXP) told investors that production averaged 1,335 barrels of oil per day in its second quarter.

The recently listed company, in an update for the three months ended June 30, said it had an average realised oil price of US$45.51.

It added that the new quarter started positively, with production of 1,455 bopd in the first two weeks of July.

The company highlighted that the first two wells of a new drilling programme were completed, with both wells coming onto production adding 203 bopd.

Two more wells have, meanwhile, now been drilled and cased for production. The wells have encountered combined net oil pay of 637 feet.
