Evander work should be finished next week

Pan African Resources plc (LON:PAF) expects to complete the repairs to its Evander gold mine shafts next week on time and within budget.

A fatality at the mine in February meant a complete review had to be implemented that involved the refurbishment and maintenance of Evander’s 7 and 8 shaft infrastructure.

Work is expected to be completed on 15 April within the original R40m ($2.3mln) estimate.
