Probability in betting software partnership with Sweden's Mobenga

11th Mar 2010, 1:11 pm Probability in betting software partnership with Sweden's Mobenga

Mobile gambling specialist Probability (AIM: PBTY) said it has partnered with Mobenga, a Swedish provider of betting software.  Probability will integrate into Mobenga's software platform and the groups will cooperate in marketing its games capability to Mobenga customers.

Mobenga's software platform is being used by betting companies Unibet, bwin and BetClic to provide a mobile interface to Mobenga’s existing and future customers, which will be able to add Probability’s more than thirty gambling games to their existing mobile offering with little additional technical investment.

Probability will derive revenues from the use of the games by end customers, in direct relationship with the betting site itself or through Mobenga.

“This partnership extends our global reach, and opens up the large player bases which Mobenga's customers have. It removes in one stroke the main hurdle to delivering our service to these operators - namely the time and cost of integrating a new technology into their platform,” said Probability chief executiveCharles Cohen.

The company said it is in discussions with several of Mobenga’s customers, hoping to secure its first project shortly.

Shares in Probability were up nearly 16% on the news in early afrernoon trade.
