Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes at 3.30pm.

RISERS

PV Crystalox Solar PLC (LON:PVCS), up 13%. The supplier of photovoltaic silicon wafers used in solar panels moved back into profit in the first half of the year.

MXC Capital Limited (LON:MXCP), up 11%. The company intends to return £3mln to shareholders via a tender offer at a 24%^ premium to last night’s closing share price.

Serica Energy PLC (LON:SQZ), up 9.2%. David and Monique Newlands have trimmed their joint stake from more than 3% to 2.75%.

FALLERS

OptiBiotix Health plc (LON:OPTI), down 4.7%. Watch ‘A lot more to come’ from OptiBiotix, says chief

Carillion PLC (LON:CLLN), down 4.1%. JP Morgan Cazenove has downgraded the support services and construction outfit to ‘underweight’

RISERS

SolGold plc (LON:SOLG), up 22%. The company is in advanced negotiations for the potential participation of a major international gold mining company in SolGold's capital raising initiatives.

SigmaRoc PLC (LON:SRC), up 15%. The company formerly known as Messaging International surged as James Leek bought a 3.08% stake in the company.

Sopheon PLC (LON:SPH), up 14%. The interims to June continue the very strong momentum demonstrated over the past 12 months, according to the software company’s house broker, finnCap.

FALLERS

Allied Minds PLC (LON:ALM), down 7.8%. Incubator fund Allied Minds saw its full-year loss widen to US$52.2mln from US$39.86mln the year before.

Coral Products PLC (LON:CRU), down 7.1%. The injection moulding plastic products maker found the market hard to please, posting a profit before tax for the full year of £758,000 versus a profit the year before of £191,000.

IFG Group PLC (LON:IFP), down 6.9%. Interim results from the asset manager today highlighted a pause in new client organic growth as inertia set in either side of the Brexit vote.  


Biggest share price movers in London at 9.30am

RISERS

Taihua plc (LON:TAIH) up 100% to 2.25p. Chinese medicine group has raised £716,000 at 2.63p to carry out a share buyback.

Kibo Mining PLC (LON:KIBO) up 15% to 5.75p. Company has renegotiated agreement with Chinese partner SEPCO over Mbeya power plant development in Tanzania. It will get US$1.8mln this month and more later.

Jimmy Choo PLC (LON:CHOO) up 6% to 125p. The high-end fashion group saw revenues up 9% on a reported currency basis and 3.8% at constant currency. The weakened pound following Brexit proved fortuitous, it added.

FALLERS

Bellzone Mining PLC (LON:BZM) down 25% to 0.23p. Technical study for Kalia indicates ferrochrome nickel production is viable but will cost US$51mln to get up and running.

Bushveld Minerals Ltd (LON:BMN) down 12% at 1.43p. Mining junior confirmed the closing of a £580,000 share placing. The funds will be used for general working capital, as well as supporting continuing costs related to its Vametco transaction.

Thor Mining PLC (LON:THR) down 9% at 0.03p. Company has started aircore drilling at Molyhil to find additional deposits of tungsten within a six mile radius of the current deposit in Australia.
