Stevia sweetener group PureCircle’s (LON:PURE) chief operating officer Jordi Ferre is to step down at the end of September to take up another job elsewhere.
Paul Selway-Swift, chairman, thanked Ferre for his contribution to the company and wished him success in the future.
Magomet Malsagov, chief executive, will lead the search for Ferre's replacement, the company said.
PureCircle has been trading strongly recently as concern about the levels of sugar people are consuming has prompted the UK and other countries to propose sugar taxes.
Last week, the group said operating profits this year would grow by 60%.
It also appointed Rakesh Sinha as chief financial officer.
