European Metal to target shallow, high grade areas at Cinovec

Lithium explorer European Metals Holdings Ltd (LON:EMH ASX:EMH) is to shift its drill rig at the Cinovec deposit to the shallower high grade areas in the centre.

A  detailed geological model over Cinovec identified these shallow, higher grade lithium zones European Metals said.

Activity recently at the deposit in the Czech Republic has been in the south, with one hole (PSn13) to be completed to finish a deeper diamond drill programme.

Five cores analysed so far have indicated better widths and intercepts than expected, though grades have been as predicted.

Dorfner Anzaplan, a German industrial metals specialist, has been appointed to carry out advanced test work on lithium extraction methods, EMH added.

A heads of agreement with Lithium Australia NL (ASX: LIT) over its L-Max technology has been terminated.

Cash and equivalents at the end of March was A$1.73mln.

Rare Earth Minerals owns a 19.8% stake in European Metals.
