Rame delighted to be back in Argentina

Renewable power group Rame Energy plc (LON:RAME) is to advise miner Goldcorp on the establishment of a possible wind farm at its Cerro Negro mine in Argentina.

Located in Santa Cruz, 600m above sea level, Cerro Negro is less than 100km west of Rame's Cerro Coihue wind farm in Chile, which has just started to supply electricity to Mandalay Resources’ Cerro Bayo mine.

Rame will work with Goldcorp initially for seven months but may be involved during the construction and operational phase.

Tim Adams, chief executive, said:  "We have significant experience of working with the mining industry in both Chile and Argentina to provide reliable, renewable energy for remote projects.

“We are delighted to be working with Goldcorp,” he added.
