Sunrise Resources (LON:SRES) has revealed that executive chairman Patrick Cheetham has increased his shareholdings in the company.
Cheetham purchased an additional 1mln shares at an average price of 0.207p.
It increases his stake in the company to around 3.87%.
Last month, Sunrise told investors it had made "excellent" progress in its two main aims; to generate cash flow from advanced projects, and to add value by testing more speculative exploration targets.
It also revealed in December that it had staked claims over a second industrial minerals project - a pozzolan project - in Nevada, USA. That followed news it had leased out its County Line Diatomite claims to EP Minerals in the US for 25 years.
At the Bay State silver project, also in the US, highlight of the period include bonanza grades from underground sampling, while high grade silver was also intercepted from the first three holes.
