Zamano takeover talks come to end

Discussions over a takeover of Irish mobile billings group Zamano (LON:ZMNO) have come to an end.

An approach was made by an unnamed party in August at a mooted price of €0.20, but today the mobile add-ons group said all talks had stopped.

Zamano said it will now look for its own investment, acquisition and joint venture opportunities to build up its existing data analytics, mobile payments and mobile marketing business.

The company's most recent figures showed an interim underlying profit [EBITDA] of €1.42mln in the period to end June with net cash of €5.2mln.
