Egged has also said in a letter it intends to deploy by the end of 2016, SerVision's mobile DVR units across its entire fleet of 3,920 buses in Israel and 1,700 buses that are owned by associate companies based in the Netherlands and Poland.

Mobile video security specialist SerVision (LON:SEV) has received an order from Israel's largest bus company for 75 of its units, it said, as it also updated on its agreement in Kazakhstan.

Egged Israel Transport Cooperative Society is Israel's largest transport operator and it has already furnished the firm with US$108,000 for 75 of its flagship live streaming MVG400 units, which have already been installed.

Egged has also said in a letter it intends to deploy by the end of 2016, SerVision's mobile DVR units across its entire fleet of 3,920 buses in Israel and 1,700 buses that are owned by associate companies based in the Netherlands and Poland.

However, SerVision noted there was no guarantee that any further purchase orders would be forthcoming from Egged.

In Kazakhstan, the  firm said 360 of its MVG400 units and the cameras were shipped to Astana on April 22 this  year under the agreement with Crosstone Trading Limited  and A&A Traffic Technologies Limited (A&A) to supply its video gateway products for buses.

Crosstone and A&A had committed to an initial purchase order of US$415,000 and US$207,500 in cash was paid to SerVision in January this year.

The balance of the Crosstone purchase order, valued at US$195,300, was received by SerVision on May 6 and SerVision said it expects to receive the balance of the A&A order, valued at US$12,500, 75 days from receipt of shipment.

It added it was currently in negotiations to secure a further purchase order with Crosstone, A&A and SMEU.
