Kitty Bingo is one of Stride's brands.

Stride Gaming (LON:STR), the bingo operator chaired by former Sportingbet boss Nigel Payne, made a winning debut on AIM.

The shares, listed at 132p each, raced to an early premium as they hit 140p in the first half hour of trade.

The company has raised £11.2mln, which it will use to expand its UK and international footprint, and is capitalised at just over £66mln.

Chief executive Eitan Boyd said: “Our Admission to AIM will expedite the company's organic and acquisitive growth strategy and provide it with a fantastic platform to grab significant market share as a result of increased regulation.

“The listing will also enhance the group's profile and brand awareness and will help facilitate our ambitions to become the market leader in online bingo.

"Stride Gaming is a profitable business run by a proven management team and we look forward to updating our new shareholders and other investors with our progress as a publicly listed company."
