Will Fuller Smith & Turner give investors that Friday feeling?

Here we are, it is again that time of the week where the Day Ahead market preview has to reach right to the back of the cupboard.

This Friday’s diary is typically sparse, albeit there will be beer.

London based brewer Fuller Smith & Turner Plc (LON:FSTA) releases interim results and City broker Numis is expecting to see a small improvement in trading during the second quarter thanks to favourable summer weather.

The broker forecasts 3% growth in manged earnings and 4% growth at the group level.

Numis analyst Tim Barrett added: “In the medium term, Fullers should be a beneficiary of inbound tourism to London, related to weak GBP.

“However, we expect a somewhat cautious outlook statement, mindful of cost pressures such as the national living wage (NLW) and business rates (increases scheduled for April 2017).”
