Risers & fallers: Gulf Keystone slides as 21.9bn shares list

RISERS

Independent Resources plc (LON:IRG), up 46%. The company has touched-up existing shareholder Brandon Hill Capital for an unsecured loan of up to £340,000.

Red Rock Resources Plc (LON:RRR) up 9% to 0.41p. Partners Mayan Resources at the Shoats Creek field in Louisiana where gas production has just got underway. Red Rock has 14.4% net working interest.

SRT Marine Systems PLC (LON:SRT) up 5% to 45p. Company has received has received an initial order and first payment for the supply of AIS vessel monitoring transceivers for Saudi Arabia.

FALLERS

Aureus Mining Inc (LON:AUE), down 15% at 2.03p. The dual-listed explorer has raised US$72mln to finance its transition to the owner-operator mining model. Main shareholder MNG is putting up US$60mln.

Nu-Oil and Gas PLC (LON:NUOG) down 5% to 0.48p. North Sea focused oiler completes placing at 0.4p to raise £532,000. Funds will allow it to “secure first project using the low cost solutions devised and delivered by MFDevCo and the MFD Consortium."

Elegant Hotels PLC (LON:EHG)  down 4% to 64.3p. Political uncertainties in the UK over the summer months have caused bookings for the current financial year to track slightly behind the same period last year said hotelier. Group revenue for the current year currently expected to be broadly flat.

Mayan Energy Limited (LON:MYN), up 23%. Gas production has started from the Shoats Creek Field.

Nostra Terra Oil & Gas Company (LON:NTOG), up 19%. These shares were the top risers early doors and now we know why; CEO Matt Lofgran recently bought 1.6mln shares at 1.31p a pop.

FALLERS

Aureus Mining Inc (LON:AUE), down 21% at 1.875p. The dual-listed explorer has raised US$72mln to finance its transition to the owner-operator mining model.

Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd (LON:GKP), down 5.5%. Today’s the day 21.9bn Gulf Keystone shares hit the market.

Aeorema Communications PLC (LON:AEO), down 4.8%. Full-year results from the live events agency disappointed. “The next six months will be rocky,” the company warned.

Man Group PLC (LON:EMG), up 13%. Things are finally looking up for the hedge fund manager, with funds under management rising 6% kin the third quarter.

Porta Communications PLC (LON:PTCM), up 10%. The shares are on the rise again after yesterday’s board room reshuffle.

FALLERS

Grafenia Plc (LON:GRA), down 14%. The trade printer issued another profit warning.

SolGold plc (LON:SOLG), down 5.4%. The copper explorer, which recently rebuffed an approach from BHP Billiton, has issued 63.35mln shares to Maxit to raise UD$10.14mln.

Ambrian PLC (LON:AMBR), down 5.0%. The trading house said it would wind down its metal trading activities and focus on the development of its industrial asset base.
