Risers and fallers: Premier African, Sepura and Frontier IP

RISERS

Premier African Minerals Ltd (LON:PREM), up 32% to 0.49p. The company told investors this morning that it has kicked off a 20-hole diamond drill programme at its Zulu project and brought David Lenigas on board to conduct an independent review of the project.

Galliford Try plc (LON:GFRD), up 7% to 1,212p. Reported a strong year across its businesses as annual pre-tax profit rose 18% to £135mln.

Frontier IP Group Plc (LON:FIPP), up 6% to 35p. Signed an agreement with the Faculty of Science and Technology at the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, Portugal to assist with licensing activities emerging from its research programmes.

 

FALLERS

Sepura PLC (LON:SEPU), down 74% to 11.5p. Said this afternoon that EBITDA for the current financial year could be 60% lower than previous expectations due to low order numbers.

Clear Leisure PLC (LON:CLP), down 15% to 1p. Told investors today that it had raised £200,000 via a share placing. 22.2mln shares were issued at a discount price of 0.9p per share.

Driver Group PLC (LON:DRV), down 13% to 41.2p. The board told investors that it now expects to make a “modest” operating loss for the full year after upping its debt provision.

RISERS

StrParkmead Group PLC (LON:PMG), up 14% to 55.94p. Told investors today that it has increased its stake in the Perth and Dolphin oil fields in the Central North Sea.

Quixant plc (LON:QXT), up 11% to 243p. Posted a strong set of interims, with revenue in its core gaming division up 56%.

Cambian Group PLC (LON:CMBN), up 11% to 89p. Results for the six months to June out today and the company said trading had started well in the second half of the year.

 

FALLERS

Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd (LON:FOG), down 14% to 4.75p. Reported some good results from latest drilling at Beetaloo, but a moratorium on fracking in the area could de-rail plans. 

Anpario Plc (LON:ANP), down 9% to 240.5p. Released its interims today and reported a fall in operating profits and revenues.

Ocado Group PLC (LON:OCDO), down 8% to 257.1p. Shares are still reeling from yesterday’s news that competition in the sector will pressurise margins. LINK

Stratmin Global Resources PLC (LON:STGR), up 46% to 2.37p. Completed the divestment of Graphmada Mauritius today after receiving the final A$600,000 of the A$1.5mln Tranche One cash payment.

Premier African Minerals Ltd (LON:PREM), up 24% to 0.46p. The company told investors this morning that it has kicked off a 20-hole diamond drill programme at its Zulu project.

Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited (LONLCOPL), up 7% to 6.82p. The firm has completed the acquisition of 80% of the share capital of Essar Exploration and Production Limited (Nigeria).

 

FALLERS

Plant Health Care PLC (LON:PHC), down 27% to 20p. Revenue fell and operating loss more than doubled in its latest interim results.

Modern Water PLC (LON:MWG), down 15% to 5.3p. Managed to narrow its operating loss for the six months to June, but revenues fell by nearly a third.

Driver Group PLC (LON:DRV), down 13% to 41.2p. The board told investors that it now expects to make “modest” operating loss for the full year.
