Micro Focus International PLC (LON:MCRO), up 20% to 2,333p. Told investors this morning it had acquired some of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s assets to create one of the largest software firms in the UK. LINK
Marlowe PLC (LON:MRL), up 17% to 195p. Announced the acquisition of water treatment firm H2O Chemicals Limited for £2.8mln. LINK
Metals Exploration Plc (LON:MTL), up 12% to 6.3p. Told investors it had raised US$6.4mln via successful share placing with certain existing shareholders.
FALLERS
Tower Resources PLC (LON:TRP), down 48% to 2.85p. Proposed a “heavily discounted” placing to investors as it looked to extend its cash reserves in a “difficult” market.
Zibao Metals Recycling Holdings Plc (LON:ZBO), down 26% to 1.3p. Shares were initially well up on Thursday before management issued a press release explaining they were “not aware of any reason” why the price should jump, so it subsequently slumped.
Sirius Petroleum PLC (LON:SRSP), down 11% to 0.39p. Independent petroleum consultants produced a Competent Person’s Report for its Ororo Field asset and it has secured a £500,000 convertible loan from existing shareholders.

ProPhotonix Ltd (LON:PPIX), up 31% to 3.92p. Put out a strong set of results today, with solid increases in revenues, profits and profit margins.
Argo Group PLC (LON:ARGO), up 26% to 12.75p. Posted a strong set of interims this morning, reporting a profit before tax of US$4.9mln, compared to a loss of US$4.2mln for the same period a year earlier.
Amphion Innovations Plc (LON:AMP), up 13% to 3.66p. Renegotiated the terms of its loan to Motif Bio Plc (LON:MTFB) and signed an agreement with the same firm to provide corporate services.
FALLERS
MedaPhor Group PLC (LON:MED), down 28% to 30.62p. One of its key clients told MedaPhor that it will terminate its contract wi9th the firm.
Kibo Mining PLC (LON:KIBO), down 9% to 6.65p. Issued 2.7mln shares to Sanderson Capital Partners under the re-negotiated terms for the payback of the loan facility.
Origo Partners PLC (LON:OPP), down 23% to 1.92p. Yesterday the firm set out several proposals to restructure Origo’s share capital.

Strat Aero PLC, up 94% to 0.82p. Its wholly-owned subsidiary, Geocurve, has won a £2.5mln contract to provide aerial inspection and survey services for the UK Environment Agency.
Airea PLC (LON:AIEA), up 40% to 30p. Released a healthy set of preliminary results this morning for its financial year ended 30th June.

Red Rock Resources Plc (LON:RRR), down 14% to 0.41p. Recently announced it is continuing negotiations with Colombia Milling Ltd over a disputed US$1mln promissory note conversion.
PHSC PLC (LON:PHSC), down 6% to 23p. Told investors that unaudited accounts are showing a consolidated underlying loss (EBITDA) of £94,000.
