Developer of novel immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer Scancell Holdings Plc (LON:SCLP) is presenting at the 23rd Annual NewsMakers in the Biotech Industry Conference at the Millennium Broadway Hotel & Conference Center in New York City, USA.

Base Resources Limited (LON:BSE) advises that the latest company presentation, which was presented today at the Africa Downunder Conference in Perth, Western Australia, has been released to ASX. It can be found on the group’s website.

In other news, ImmuPharma PLC (LON:IMM) said it will stage part of its phase III clinical trial of Lupuzor, its treatment for Lupus, in Mauritius, which has a high incidence of the life-threatening autoimmune disease. In all, 30 patients will be recruited as part of the 200-strong study.

Elsewhere, CentralNic Group Plc (LON:CNIC) has scaled its wholesale internet domain business at an unprecedented pace as its clients have gained market share, chairman Mike Turner highlighted in Wednesday’s interim results.

Over at Tern PLC (LON:TERN) its Internet of Things (IoT) subsidiary Device Authority is to tie-up with global encryption specialist DigiCert.

The partnership will expand the range and type of IoT devices that can be secured with encryption and authentication, Tern told investors.

Meanwhile, Windar Photonics PLC (LON:WPHO) has received more orders for its 4-beam Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) device, the WindVISION, from international wind turbine manufacturers.

The Danish firm has already installed and tested one of the units for Eleon AS on one of its 3.4M-118 wind turbines at the new Aidu windfarm in north-eastern Estonia.

Next, one of the satellite deposits surrounding its New Luika mine in Tanzania has seen a substantial increase in gold resources, miner Shanta Gold Limited (LON:SHG) reported.

Underground exploration has increased indicated resources at the Ilunga deposit by 409% to 205,000 oz, while the total overall rises 336% to 258,000 oz.

Over at Solo Oil PLC (LON:SOLO) it told investors it will focus its cash on the higher potential of the larger Ruvuma joint venture, rather than take up an option for more of the revenue generating Kiliwani North field.

Sound Energy PLC (LON:SOU) has been on a bit of rampage of late - with the stock up than 300% in the last three months on the back of drilling success in Morocco.

Its first well on the Tendara Block proved the area was host to “commercially significant” accumulations of gas.

And finally, Galileo Resources PLC (LON:GLR) will hunt for near-surface copper at the Homeep target at its Concordia project, starting next month, after modelling suggested high grades at the prospect.

The top three targets for open pit potential at the South Africa project have been ranked as Homeep, KoeelKop and Henderson. The first phase of the IP study will be at the Homeep Trend.
