Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes at 4.00pm.

RISERS

Craven House Capital PLC (LON:CRV), up 42%. The shares rose 0175p to 0.825p after the company announced it had raised £3.47mln issuing shares at 1.25p each. Yes, 1.25p each.

Tejoori Limited Holdings (LON:TJI), up 32%. The Dubai-based Shari'a compliant investment company has become aware that Mark Campbell Lillingston holds a 3.79% stake in the company.

Karelian Diamond Resources Plc (LON:KDR), up 9.7%. What's going on here? The unwritten rule is that when companies issue shares to raise money, the share price goes down, but here is another stock shooting up after a fund raising. Karelian's shares advanced to 0.861p after the company raised £250,000 placing shares at 0.8p a pop.

FALLERS

Intelligent Energy Holdings PLC (LON:IEH), down 17%. This is a bit more like it … the company's shares tumbled after it announced plans to raise £30mln through the issue of convertible loan notes.

Inspirit Energy Holdings PLC (LON:INSP), down 16%. Ditto for this company, which has placed shares at a ha'penny a throw, sending the shares down 0.09p to 0.48p.

Haynes Publishing Group PLC (LON:HYNS), down 12%. The car manual publisher issued a profit warning, saying underlying pre-tax profits for the year to the end of this month will be up to 30% less than the market had been expecting.

RISERS

Empyrean Energy PLC (LON:EME) up 16%. The company, which has sold its 3% interest in the Sugarloaf AMI in Texas, said it is still the company's intention to proceed with a return to shareholders as soon as the US taxation situation can be confirmed by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The IRS has now assigned a contact person.

Georgia Healthcare Group PLC (LON:GHG), up 14%. Investors have had Georgia on their mind this week as shares add to yesterday's heavy gains today following the release of first quarter results.

Torotrak plc (LON:TRK), up 10%. One for the petrol-heads … The company said the the on-engine V-Charge testing programme, conducted by University of Bath has successfully met the key target requirements.

FALLERS

Lakehouse PLC (LON:LAKE), down 33%. The asset and energy support services group said it has written down the value of a number of contracts this year, hitting earnings by £2mln and resulting in a profit warning.

Alecto Minerals PLC (LON:ALO), down 19%. The shares fell to 0.09p after the company raised £650,000 by placing shares at 0.08p each.

Imaginatik Plc (LON:IMTK), down 18%. At 10.51 the company confirmed press speculation that it was planning to raise funds and by 12.26pm, there was the funding announcement. It is looking to raise around £2mln through a share issue, probably at around 2.5p a share. Shares in the software firm slipped to 3.28p.

Blinkx Plc (LON:BLNX), up 20% at 20.25p. Investors saw the positives in the online video group’s results, which revealed bigger losses due to a restructuring. Full story

Speedy Hire Plc (LON:SDY), up 6.85% to 39p. The plant hire firm revealed its recent restructuring has been paying off. Full Story

88 Energy Ltd (LON:88E), up 6.6% to 2p. The Alaska oil explorer’s managing director, Dave Wall, has increased his stake - buying 2mln shares. Full Story

FALLERS

Ten Alps PLC (LON:TAL), down 40% to 1.2p. The TV production company - which last week won a BAFTA - warned its full year results will be much worse than expected. Full Story

Crossrider PLC (LON:CROS), down 27% to 27p. Digital advertising warned of “structural changes” in its markets, a significant decline in mobile revenue growth, and a faster than expected drop in monetisation from apps.

Independent Resources PLC (LON:IRG), down 13% to 0.07p. The North African oil junior announced a short term funding boost, raising £200,000 via a convertible loan. Full story
