Fastjet PLC (LON:FJET) has agreed to an early termination of the lease on one of its A319 aircraft as part of its ongoing review to match current demand with capacity.

Following the return of this aircraft the fleet will comprise of five aircraft, four leased and one owned. It will continue to keep the fleet size under review.

CEO of internet domain group Minds & Machines Groip (LON:MMX) Toby Hall acquired 250,000 ordinary shares at a price of 8p per ordinary share. Hall now owns 250,000 ordinary shares representing 0.03% of the company's issued share capital.

In other news, Eland Oil & Gas PLC (LON:ELA) revealed it raised US$18.5mln in an oversubscribed premium placing as its drilling programme steps up a gear.

Due to a strong response from investors, the cash call was increased from a base size of US$15mln to around US$18.5mln.

Elsewhere, Tekcapital PLC (LON:TEK) was confident of posting revenues in the short term from commercialising its intellectual property (IP) portfolio.

The firm, which provides technology  and IP services, is in formative stage and any revenues and fundraisings currently go towards further  investment, such as growing customer numbers.

Meanwhile, ANGLE PLC (LON:AGL) today underlined the traction its Parsortix device for detecting cancer is receiving as it listed a number of poster presentations that have been  published by key opinion leaders.

It comes after successful meetings this year at the American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting 2016 (AACR 2016) in New Orleans

Over at Alaska-focused oil 88 Energy ltd (LON:88E ASX:88E) it spelt out its plans for the next stage of development of its keenly anticipated Icewine project.

Earlier this month, managing director Dave Wall described as ‘astounding’ the correlation between projections for its first well, Icewine-1, and the actual results.

Africa-focused agriculture and timber company Obtala Resources (LON:OBT) agreed to terms for a full settlement of US$900,000 from Basic Materials Limited.

The settlement was part of the investment agreement announced in February and is expected in two tranches.

Over at Cancer drug developer ValiRx Plc (LON:VAL) its joint venture Valiseek received a US patent for its lead compound VAL401 as a possible treatment for adenocarcinoma cancers.

The drug is targeting non-small-cell lung adenocarcinoma, the most common form of the disease.

ZincOx Resources plc (LON:ZOX) is on the hunt for a new recycling project, adding that the transfer of 90% of its Korean recycling plant to partner Korea Zinc had now been completed.

As reported in December, the firm was unsuccessful in its attempt to raise the US$5mln that would have allowed it to reschedule US$57.1mln of debt owing to Korea Zinc and handed over the stake.

And finally shares in fuel cell developer Proton Power Systems (LON:PPS) shot up 24% this morning after a significant order for its hydrogen fuel cell emergency power units from a blue chip German customer.

The order is worth €1.8mln (£1.4mln) for a number of systems expected to be delivered and installed this year.
