Below are the main news-driven share price movements at 4pm.

RISERS

SeaEnergy (LON:SEA) up 37.4%. The company said it knows of no reason for the share price movement

Glencore (LON:GLEN) up 6.3%. Following cuts to copper output announced last month, the commodities giant has now said it will also curtail production of zinc.

President Energy (LON:PPC) up 6.6%. The company has identified some 302mln barrels of prospective oil resources in Boqueron, its largest exploration target on the Hernandarias block, Paraguay.

 

FALLERS

Physiomics (LON:PYC) down 14.3%. It has signed a further extension to a virtual tumour project with a major global pharmaceutical company, which was first announced in March.

GameAccount Network (LON:GAME) down 11.4%.  It has partnered with American Casino & Entertainment Properties to launch a simulated gaming website in the US.

Afriag (LON:AFRI) down 8.4%. The company's ordinary shares started trading on the ISDX Growth Market under the ticker AFRI as well as on AIM.

RISERS

Peer TV (LON:PTV) up 128%. CSS Alpha Fund has bought 153.7mln shares in the company, around a 10.6% stake.

Botswana Diamonds (LON:BOD) up 23.1%. Its joint venture with Russian giant Alrosa was awarded a new prospecting licence in the Orapa area.

Vedanta (LON:VED) up 10.6%.  The diversified mining and oil firm, impressed markets  with it second quarter production results.

Petrofac (LON:PFC) up 10.5%. It ended its unpopular contract with ZPMC. With the collapse of the oil price, concerns have been heightened over the project, which Investec reckons Petrofac has already spent US$300mln on, with another US$100mln in commitments.

 

FALLERS

DQ Entertainment (LON:DQE) down 7.7%. DQ and Ellipsanime have been commissioned to be co-produced for the third instalment of the Jungle Book franchise.

Carillion (LON:CLLN) down 1.1%. Investec downgraded its rating on the company to ‘hold’ from ‘buy’ with a target price 300p down from the previous 380p.

RISERS

Renewable Energy Generation (LON:WIND) up 31.5%. It received an offer for its operating assets worth around 60p per share, a 60% premium to yesterday’s close. It is not an offer to acquire the ordinary share capital of REG.

Ixico (LON:IXI) up 8.2%. The firm is collaborating with a leading Multiple Sclerosis pharma company to develop and adapt the version of its digital healthcare platform Assessa, which monitors people receiving treatment for MS.

Concha (LON:CHA) up 7.7%. The investment firm appointed former JP Morgan employee Richard Tray to its senior executive management team.

Iofina (LON:IOF) up 7%. The company restated second half production guidance. In the third quarter it produced 143.6 metric tons of crystalline iodine, up almost 89% year on year, while in the year to date it has generated 437.7 tons of the product.

 

FALLERS

Adgorithms (LON:ADGO) down 59%. Earnings for the full year will be “materially below expectations”, the company said, following disruption in the online advertising market.

Golden Saint Resources (LON:GSR) down 13.5%. The company is going down the crowdfunding route to raise £250,000 through the issue of loan notes.
