US equities futures point to a positive open on Wall Street in a continuation of positive sentiment seen out of Asia. Market participants will look ahead to a number of Fed speakers due to speak later today including Fed Vice-Chairman Dudley, known for his close alliance with Fed Chairman Bernanke. Today also sees the release of the US Pending home sales, Kansas city Fed manufacturing and the weekly EIA Natural Gas report.

Positive session over in Asia failed to carry over into Europe, with healthcare stocks outperforming in Europe and market participants turning somewhat cautious as dovish comments from central bankers continued to support bull flattening of short-term rates. FTSE-100 index continues to outperform its peers, with gains being led by miner as commodity prices rebound after suffering heavy sell-off yesterday. Wood Group is also seen among the best performing stocks after the company said that it is on course to deliver good growth in H1 and FY performance in-line with expectations. WPP shares were well bid today after analysts at Bank of America added co. to most preferred media list at Bank of America.
