Obtala Resources is a diversified multi-national group with established presence in mining and mineral exploration, and developing interests in; Energy, Agriculture and Strategic investments. Through a subsidiary company the Group has secured 100% economic rights in the operating Sierra Leone Konoma alluvial diamond mine and has established a distribution agreement that will achieve upstream profits. Subsidiary companies of the Group hold the economic rights in gold, uranium, nickel, iron ore, copper and gemstone projects in Tanzania. In February 2011 Obtala Resources acquire a 37 percent interest in the near-term producing Mokopane tin mine development in South Africa. Obtala is significant shareholder in new renewable energy company in East Africa.
