Metalrax Group PLC makes and supplies specialist steel products worldwide. The Company has two operating divisions: Consumer Durables, which produces and markets the majority of bakeware sold in the United Kingdom, together with associated ranges of kitchen accessories to both retail and commercial markets, and Specialist Engineering, which makes specialist products for applications in the medical, specialist metal coating and automotive sectors. This division provides precision engineered solutions to a range of markets, with an emphasis on service and customization. Global brands include PG LifeLink operating theatre systems, which provide reliable safe power solutions in patient critical environments. In January 2009, it announced the reorganization of its Specialist Engineering division, and the consolidation of its RTA Wineracks and Samuel Groves Consumer Durables businesses. In December 2008, it sold its Welland Engineering Supplies business.
