Nigel Payne – Non-Executive Chairman
Nigel Payne, aged 56, has in excess of 30 years’ experience at board level, covering a wide range of industries: advertising, manufacturing, distribution, retail, finance and e-commerce.
Nigel has had wide-ranging exposure to various types of corporate activity including acquisitions, flotations and fundraising. Nigel is currently the Non-Executive Chairman of AIM listed Gateley (Holdings) plc, the Non-Executive Chairman of AIM listed Stride Gaming plc and a Non-Executive Director of AIM Listed Gama Aviation Plc. Nigel was also the Chief Executive of Main Market listed Sportingbet plc, one of the world’s then largest online gaming operator between 2000 and 2006 and a non-executive director thereafter until 2011.
Between 1995 and 2000 Nigel was Group Finance, Business Development and IT Director of Polestar Magazines, the largest independent printer in Europe. Between 1993 and 1995 Nigel was Finance and IT Director of Home Brewery plc, a subsidiary of Scottish & Newcastle plc.
Elizabeth Gooch, MBE – Chief Executive Officer
Elizabeth Gooch started her career in industry, joining Forward Trust (a subsidiary of Midland Bank) and then Birmingham Midshires Building Society before establishing eg in 1988. Elizabeth pioneered the introduction of production management methodologies into the service sector and used these techniques as the basis for achieving improvements in customer service and guaranteed cost reduction for clients.
She designed and launched the eg operational intelligence® software suite to embed best practice production management techniques into businesses in order to deliver sustainable benefits. eg pioneered the back office optimisation market, now worth approximately $3bn and eg’s software is now recognised as the most complete purpose built back office optimisation suite in the world.
Having successfully implemented eg’s solutions in large financial services companies Elizabeth is recognised as a leading British IT entrepreneur and was recognised as the seventh leading female entrepreneur in Management Today’s top 100 entrepreneurs for 2006 and 2007.
Elizabeth was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2012 in recognition of her achievements in delivering significant benefits for clients with the products she designed.
Michael Woolley – Chief Financial Officer
Michael Woolley has a wealth of experience in senior finance roles and joined eg in November 2014. Prior to this, Michael spent 6 years at Pets at Home Group PLC, the UK’s leading specialist pet omni-channel retailer and services provider. During this period Michael experienced rapid progress through the Management Accounts function. This culminated with his final role of Group Senior Management Accountant where he played a fundamental role in the group’s successful IPO.
Michael leads the finance function in the UK and off-shore. He has ensured integration of the finance team into day-to-day operations and has a wealth of experience in senior finance roles, both operationally and strategically.
Michael is a CIMA qualified management accountant and has a degree in accountancy gained from the University of Central Lancashire Business School.
Robert Krakauer – Non-Executive Director
edited Robert Krakauer, joined eg’s Board as a Non-Executive Director in July 2015. He also holds the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Aspect Software Inc where he guides the strategic financial direction for the company to meet the needs of their customers, investors and future prospects.
Prior to joining Aspect, Bob served as Interim CFO of Genesys, CFO of Global Foundries and Lifelock, as well as president and CFO of MagnaChip Semiconductor in Korea. He was previously EVP of Corporate Operations and CFO for ChipPAC, where he was part of the management team that successfully took the company public on NASDAQ.
Bob also held executive leadership positions in finance and business development for AlliedSignal (now Honeywell), and earlier in his career, he dedicated more than 10 years to various leadership roles at several prominent companies in California.
Bob completed both undergraduate and graduate studies at Santa Clara University, earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA with a concentration in operations. He has since been honored by the University with induction into its IPO Hall of Fame.
George Rolls – Non-Executive Director
George RollsGeorge Rolls joined eg‘s Board in June 2016. Over the past 30 years, George has been a director, manager and adviser to many private and public companies in a variety of sectors such as manufacturing, publishing and print media, technology, real estate and consumer products. George has experience in corporate mergers, acquisitions and fundraising.
Earlier in his career, George spent several years in Australia, primarily working in trading and insurance, before returning to the UK where he founded Beaufort Securities of which he was a director between 1992 and 2006. Since selling Beaufort Securities in 2008, George has acted as a consultant for private high net worth individuals and more recently was involved with the launch of a software technology fund.
Between 2010-2016 he acted as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director with AIM listed Hangar 8 plc/Gama Aviation plc. George is a trustee of the Geoffrey de Havilland Flying Foundation.
As at 31 March 2016 there were 22,682,937 ordinary shares in issue.
